The International Artist Organisation wrote a draft charter at a meeting held to bring together national organisations representing Featured Artists in music for the first time. The Draft Charter was titled the Metz Charter after the French City of Metz where the meeting was held thanks to French PRO ADAMI who invited the constituent organisations to participate in their annual ‘Rencontre des Artists Europeens’ or ‘REA’.
