Music Tank – Past Lessons for a Digital Future?

As the music industry transitions from the analogue past to an exciting digital future, it is essential that the correct balance is struck between the interests of all stakeholders – consumers, artists, producers (labels) and digital platforms.
So far in this Digital Wild West, large corporate interests have been felt to stampede
over artists and consumers in the rush for digital gold.
The European Union has the opportunity to redress the balance in the forthcoming copyright review and the IAO sincerely hopes this historic moment in which policy makers can ensure a healthy market for creators is not lost.
