IAO will be represented in seminar in the European Parliament on October 13th by President Nacho García Vega, CoArtis, Spanish coalition of featured artists, and board member Karin Inde, Swedish Musician’s Union.
The IAO thanks Greek MEP Konstantinos Arvanitis for hosting this timely roundtable on musicians in the digital age at the European Parliament on October 13th. Artists and experts on musicians´rights from seven EU countries including our Swedish Director, Karin Inde, Danish Director, Sara Indrio and IAO´s President, Nacho García Vega, will participate in two panels (on Streaming and AI). The event will serve to exchange views and formulate proposals ahead of the upcoming review of the DSM Directive, scheduled for 2027.
